SF2402A is 24x2 Character LCD display module which is built in with AIP31066 controller IC; its default interface is 8-bit parallel and 5V or 3.3V power supply option. This 24x2 LCD display SF2402A is available for no backlight or with White LED backlight options. SF2402A 24x2 LCM is available in various LCD panel colors including gray, yellow/green and blue LCD options and it can be operating at temperatures from -20℃ to +70℃; its storage temperatures range from -30℃ to +80℃, its built in character set supports English/Japanese, English/West European, English/Scandinavian European, or English/Cyrillic (Russian) options.
The standard character display resolution includes 8x2 LCD,16x1 LCD,16x2 LCD,16x4 LCD,20x2 LCD,20x4 LCD,24x2 LCD,40x2 LCD,40x4 LCD character LCD display. Character LCD modules are available in COB and COG types with different interfaces in 8080,SPI,I2C.LCD character display modules are in STN/FSTN/FFSTN LCD displays with different LED backlight in Yellow-Green, White and Blue color. The character module font options are English/Japanese, European, eastern European, Scandinavian European, Cyrillic (Russian), and Hebrew/Arabic. We offer character displays with 5V operating voltage as standard and 3V or 3.6V options are also available by request.

A Variable-Resistor must be connected to the LCD module for providing a reference to V0.The
recommended value of the Variable-Resistor is 10K to 20K.
Basic Setting
To drive the LCD module corretly and provide normally display, please use the following
setting:
一N=1, 2-line display
一F=0, 5×8 dots font
一D=1, display on
Note:
一These setting/commands should issue to the LCD module while start up.

Resetting The LCD Module
When turning on the VDD and VSS power supply, LCD module will execute the reset routine
automatically. It takes about 50ms. After the reset routine, the LCD module status will be as
follow:
一N=1, 2-line display
一Display clear
一DL=1, 8-bit interface
一F=0, 5×8 dot character font
一D=0, Display off
一C=0, Cursor off
一B=0, Blinking off
一I/D=1, Increment by 1
一S=0, No shift
NOTE:
一Reset routine could not generate the Basic Setting
